It's Potty Time...I think

Whitney is starting to understand what "potty" means...so my new mission (to hopefully accomplish before the twins arrive) is to get Whitney potty trained. Am I crazy? Probably, yes. I bought Whitney her own "big girl" potty to use, but right now I think she thinks it is more of a toy. A friend did tell me to get a potty that doesn't make noises, sing, clap, etc., so that's what I got. To all the mommies who have been through this stage, what is the best way to tackle potty training?

HAHA! I love this little potty. Hilarious! Good luck with all that. It's a "fun" adventure trying to potty train! I hope she gets it before the twinners come! Oh and by the way, in October us and a married couple friend of ours is heading up there to go to Disneyland for a weekend. How close are you to Disneyland? We just might stop by and say hi and go the beach over there. Let me know!

Megan, Girls are by far easier than boys. Mason was PT at 3 1/2 and Sydney was 2 yrs and 3 months. It took 3 day to PT Sydney. I skipped the "little potty" but used a Princess seat that sat on the big toilet. We spent 3 days at home, (don't go anywhere), and focused on going. Throw a potty party when she goes, make a huge deal out of it. Put her in undies, you'll have to clean up a few messes, but in my experience it works. 3 in diapers doesn't sound fun. Good luck! Whenever you figure it out, pass the info on. It may be different with Boston, but I have NO idea how to tackle it. I've already tried and his potty/toy/chair/stool is not working. Good luck and if I have any I'll share with you.

Should we find out the sex of the twins?
